Year-round Liverpool draws crowds to its internationally acclaimed music and cultural festivals. You can be sure Liverpool is always celebrating something.
Liverpool is sport mad. Home two of the Premiership's biggest football teams, both home grounds are a mile or so from the city centre. Classical music fans should not miss the world renowned Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, led by the Chief Conductor and Honorary Professor of the University of Liverpool, Vasily Petrenko.
